Navegar por el mundo social de la escuela secundaria es difícil. Hacer y mantener conexiones reales puede ser una lucha, especialmente en el mundo actual.
Únase a nosotros mientras creamos un espacio seguro para explorar la identidad propia, desarrollar habilidades sociales y de toma de decisiones, practicar un discurso empático y productivo e investigar qué significa pertenecer.
El grupo se reúne semanalmente y brinda formas prácticas de aprender una comunicación saludable (incluso cuando no estamos de acuerdo), la resolución de problemas sociales y el manejo de las emociones, como la ansiedad, el aislamiento, la tristeza y la frustración.
Este grupo es ideal para ti si tienes:
Problemas para encontrar el sentido de pertenencia
Luchas para disfrutar de la escuela: puede o no tener TDAH y/o ansiedad
Interés por el anime, el arte, la creatividad y los juegos en línea.
Fuerte sentido de la individualidad y un estilo personal único.

1/8/25: Dive into Skills Crafters and create a list of group rules together. Introduction of group members and team building exercises.
1/15/25: Let's explore the different mental health disorders. This will allow team members to relate to one another, hold empathy, and provide/gain support.
1/22/25: Gain insight into understanding uncomfortable emotions (Emotion Regulation) and expressing emotional needs.
1/29/25: Discover how mindfulness skills can help you navigate challenging feelings of anxiety or depression with ease!
2/5/25: Let's tackle impulsivity and take control of our behavior—I'm in charge of my actions!
2/12/25: Embark on a Self-Identity Exploration (Self-esteem) experience that will elevate confidence and self-awareness to new heights!
2/19/25: Find out how to take care of yourself and have fun at the same time! We'll cover mental, physical, and technological hygiene.
2/26/25: Let's enhance our communication skills to reach our full conversational potential.
3/5/25: Explore the circles of control to understand what we can and can't control. Take charge of your reactions!
3/12/25: SPRING BREAK – NO GROUP
3/19/25: We will practice setting and respecting boundaries and advocating for ourselves when necessary.
3/26/25: We'll explore the concept of empathy—understanding its significance and discovering ways to incorporate it into our daily lives.
4/2/25: Let's delve into defining relationships, making, and keeping friendships with plenty of warmth and empathy!
4/9/25: Engage in exciting problem-solving activities that enhance our learned skills!
4/16/25: Part 2: Engage in exciting problem-solving activities that enhance our learned skills!
4/23/25: Participate in team-building activities where we will practice the skills we learned all semester such as communication, advocating, impulsivity control, and mindfulness.

5/7/25: Group Summer celebration and wrap-up session, we'll look back at all the awesome things we've learned!
