Lauren is an experienced educator who is passionate about helping others, seeking to foster inclusive and welcoming environments for children and adults with various needs. Lauren worked in special education for 10 years in a variety of settings, including public and private schools and in-home services. She has extensive knowledge on best practices in the classroom, developing and implementing behavior intervention plans, adapting curriculum, and collecting data to best meet the needs of the student. Lauren aims to provide behavioral and academic support in the classroom so students can learn and excel in the least restrictive environment.  She is dedicated to helping people build skills and develop routines to foster independence across all environments.   

Lauren earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Communications from American University and a Master’s in Special Education from Boston University.
